Ken Gregory | Musician, Engineer, Producer
Ken Gregory is an Atlanta-based trumpet and guitar player, studio owner and composer, playing professionally since 1968. In his studio, he composes, arranges, records and edits music for various international companies, artists and local talents. His clients include Warner Brothers, CNN, The Weather Channel, various national advertising and industrial companies, and many colleagues in the Atlanta area. In some cases, such as with a songwriter who doesn't play an instrument, Ken writes & arranges the accompaniment, then plays, sings, records, and mixes all the parts. He also plays bass, valve trombone, and enough keyboard to play convincing piano, organ, percussion, woodwind and string parts using an extensive MIDI system. Performance-wise, Ken continuously plays concerts, jazz festivals, restaurants and private functions with a number of groups ranging from duos to 18 piece big bands, playing and singing the popular music literature of the last 100 years.
